a. Note:   ! This is direct line from Vic Hairston back. This family migrated to Arkansas in 1870. Children Sarah, Mary Adaline and Pinckney Madison stayed in Georgia since they were already married. The 1870 Cobb County Georgia shows both girls married. A letter from Don Carnes of Marietta, Georgia gives history of Pinckney Madison Hairston. One son of Thomas, Thomas J. Hairston was killed in the Civil War in Mississippi. Thomas J. Hairston's wife Savannah, a sister to the wife of Oliver H. P. Hairston, Mary Grissom, and Savannah's son Burto[buried in Caulksville,Arkansas] migrated with the Hairstons to Arkansas. Savannah later married B. F. Hames in Georgia in 1865 and he came also to Arkansas . Another son of Thomas , William C. D.
