Note: ! The information about Texas A. Hairston comes from Eda Stertz of Edgefield, S.C. who descends from Sophia Caroline Hairston and David Satterwhite. Texas is also mentioned in Eda's father's obituary that appeared in the Tallapoosa Journal, Haralson County Georgia in October 1911 and it stated that Texas resided in Tallapoosa, Georgia at that time.
