These children , Elizabeth Hampton Rowland and Martha Rowland were first raised by Robert and Ruth Stovall Hairston , after Robert died his son Samuel raised them . Baldwin went west after Sarah died in 1799 and he was never heard from again . Martha Rowland married C. C. Bailey , son of Parks Bailey and Mary Cabiness.
