Note: ! Some have confused this Peter with the original 'brother Peter' . Various evidence presented in the Carl Greenway letter pretty well puts this matter to rest and he indeed was a son of Andrew Hairston . In this Peter's will he makes Daniel Forbes , his nephew , the sole legatee and this was the son of his sister Jane/Janet/Jenny Forbes who was married to Alexander Forbes . Peter was mentioned in Andrew's will, made before Peter died . His will was recorded in Bedford County Virginia June 14 1779 and 'proved March 27, 1780 .
