Note: ! On the 1810 Delaware , Newcastle County census there was listed a Obid or Obed on Page 410 and we are presuming that this was Obediah, son of William and Grace Riggen Otwell . He shows on the 1820 Delaware , Sussex County , on the 1830 Sussex County, Dagsborough Hundred and does not appear after that and this is in accordance with when we think he died in 1834. He may have had more children than just John Creighton Otwell . 1810 Delaware Obed Otwell - 1 male 15-20=Obed ; 1 female under 5= ? ; 1 female 15-20= Mary Creighton. 1820 Delaware - Sussex County - Dagsborough Hundred Obediah Otwell - 2 males under 5= ?; 1 male 20-30= ? ; 3 males 40-50 = ? ; 1 male 70-80= ? This census rather confusing, Obediah may have had other children or he was living with others. 1830 Delaware - Sussex County - Dagsborough Hundred Obed Otwell - 1 male under 5= ? ; 1 male 5-10= ?; 1 male 20-30= John Creighton Otwell*1810 ; 1 female 5-10= ?; 1 female 10-15= ? ; 1 female 20-30= Mary Creighton . This census more or less confirms other children .
