The follow- ing information was provided by Betty Ann Painter Ellwanger: Camilla Painter Luecke was chief of the stringer coverage desk of the IPS, now USIA's Press and Publication Service, at her retirement. She also did work with the National Archives before joining the State Department as an archivist and visual information specialist in 1949. She became Chief of IPS Photographic Library. She was head of the foreign ? desk until she set up the stringer correspondend desk. She is also in Who's Who of American Women 1958-1959 for her work."
