Note: 1. Copied from the Lawrence J. McCutcheon manuscript: "Obituary found in the personal papers of Mary E. Morrison Campbell, Death of Thelma L. Campbell...The dark angel of death visited our community on last Sunday, March 29, 1903, at 8 o'clock and 15 min. a.m., and took away with him the immortal soul of Thelma Louise Camp- bell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fleming Campbell, aged 7 weeks. She first was taken with a severe cold and seemed to rest with much ease through the day until about midnight when she began to grow worse. She leaves behind her father and mother and a host of friends. The little one was tenderly laid to rest in Bluemont cemetery."
