Note: 1. Nathanial Walkup was born in VA about 1777. 2. No tombstone or death notice are known for the two children, Alexander and Emeline, buried in the Military Cemetery at Kessler Cross Lanes in Nicholas co., WV. 3. Robert Campbell was a farmer in VA/WV, IL and MO. 4. Robert and Eliza lived in Seneca twp., p.o. Woodstock, in Henry co., IL. 5. It is possible that this family was also in Knox co., IL about 1867, before moving to Cass co., MO. 6. On 7 Mar 1867 Robert Campbell (of Knox co., IL) bought from James and Isabella Givens for $800 land in Cass co., MO: 80 acres of the S half of the NE qtr of Sec 14 T43 R 30 and 10 acres of the N half of the NE qtr of the NW qtr of Sec 22 T 43 R30. On 31 Dec 1989 the above land was sold to John F. Birkey of Tazewell co., IL 7. Robert and Eliza were both members of the M.E. Church South in Cass co. 8. Toward the end of his life, Robert sold the farm in Cass county and moved to a house in Garden City, Cass co., MO. According to his probate record he had owned Lots 9 and 10 in Garden City, MO 9. No cemetery has been found for Robert or any other of his family who lived in Cass co., MO. 10.
