MILDRED McDANIEL SUNRAY -- Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred McDaniel, 65, who died Friday in Dumas Memorial Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Methodist Church with the pastor, the Rev. Ivan Allen, officiating. Burial in Lane Memorial Cemetery will be directed by Sunray Funeral Home. Mrs. McDaniel was born in Missouri and was a Sunray resident 20 years. She was owner and operator of the Sunray Food Store. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Walters of Houston, Mrs. Mary Love of San Francisco; brother, Francis Ellis of Ladonia, Mo.; and four grandchildren. 2. Her name, according to the Ellis family Bible, was Mildred "Shell" Ellis, not Mildred "Suweney" Ellis.
