On Thanksgiving Day at the residence of Mason McClung we had the pleasure of officiating at the marriage of Mr. Ashby Monroe, of Parkersburg, and Miss Nannie Groves, daughter of Washington Groves, one of Nicholas county's most respected citizens. Miss Nannie is a lady of unquestioniable merit. Several years of her live have been devoted to teaching in the public schools of Nicholas county; for two years she has been the esteemed book-keeper and stenographer for the Clarksburg Supply Co., the manager of which company she chose for a lifetime partner. We bespeak for them a successful and happy future."
