Broaddus, Feb. 27, 1884, Mr. William V. White and Miss Anna Bell Ellis, all of Audrain county, Mo. The preacher and guests return thanks for a fine supper, and the groom and bride for the many presents from their friends, of which we give below a partial list: Silver castor, Mr. and Mrs. Joshua White. Copied from the Muskogee Daily Phoenix of 29 Jan 1924: "WHITE FUNERAL TODAY Services to Be at First Presbyterian Church at 2:30 The funeral of Mrs. Anna Belle White, 66, who died early yesterday morning at her home, 803 South Twenty-third street will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the First Presbyterian church. Mrs. White had been ill of pneumonia for about two weeks. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C.C. Beers and Mary White, one son, John H. White of Muskogee, three brothers, J.D. Ellis, Ira Ellis, Captain Nolan Ellis, two grandchildren, all of whom live in Muskogee, and a sister, Mrs. L.D. Smith, Moorewood, Okla., and a brother, Octave Ellis of Mexico, Mo. The Eastern Star organization of Muskogee will take charge of the body at Street-Eicholtz undertaking company. 3. Went to school at Hardin College, 1875 and 1876.
