Copied from the 1 Nov 1928 issue of the Nicholas Chronicle: "MRS REBECCA CAMPBELL DEAD Mrs. Rebecca Campbell died at her home at Keslers Cross Lanes last Friday morning following a few days illness of [bronical-pneumonia]. Deceased was one of the best citizens of the Cross Lanes community and was well liked by all her friends far and near. She is survived by one son, Columbus, of Keslers Cross Lanes and one daughter, Miss Ida, at home. Interment was made Saturday in the Zoar cemetery. A crowd of sorrowing friends attended the funeral.
