Note: 1. His name was difficult to read in the 1910 KS census. It may have been written as "Mordant." He was employed as a bookeeper for the Wulf Laundry in Kansas City. 2. According to the 1920 KS census his first name was most likely Levi. He was enumerated as Levi M. Weems, age 45, born in TX. As in 1910, he was still working as a laundry bookkeeper.
