Note: 1. According to the 1900 census Monika came to the United States in 1882. But, in 1910 the immigration year was shown as 1884. 2. In 1906 the passenger list of the S. S. Bremen shows that Monika, Louis and Florence arrived in New York after having been to Germany for a visit. 3. In 1920 Louis and Florence were living with their mother according to the census. Louis was working as a plumber and Florence was working as an "office girl" for a plumber. 4. In the 1930 census Monika indicted that she had been born in the area of Stuttgart, Germany.
