Copied from the 9 Dec 1920 issue of the Muskogee Daily Phoenix: "WILLIAM VERNON WHITE DIES Succumbs to Attack of Heart Disease While Eating Breakfast. William Vernon White, 64 years old, died suddenly of heart disease while eating breakfast yesterday morning at his home, 803 South Twenty- Second Street. He leaves a wife and three children. The children are C.C. Beers, John H. White and Miss Mary White, all of Muskogee. He also is survived by two brothers and two sisters living at Stillman Valley, Ill., and a brother T.M. White, of Oklahoma City. The funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Congre- gational church under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge. Burial will be in Greenhill cemetery."
