a. Note:   1. Was living at Cordell, OK in 1928 and 1935. 2. Copied from the Cordell Beacon of 27 Dec 1945: "Rites Held Friday For Mrs. Weaver Funeral services for Mrs. E.S. Weaver of Cordell, 55 years old, who died Wednesday of last week were held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Methodist church. The services were conducted by the Rev. D.R. Miller, pastor, who was assisted by Lockwood Jones. Burial was made in Lawnview cemetery. Pallbearers were Bob Hurley, Harry Hilton, Elmer Cannon, Richard Ware, Raymond Wesner, and Alfred Maddox. Mrs. Weaver, formerly Winnie Ree Smith, was born at Memphis, Texas, December 8, 1890, and moved to Washita county with her parents when she was a child. She was married in March, 1911, to Dr. Edward S. Weaver who died earlier this year. Mrs. Weaver at the time of her death was a member of the Methodist church and for many years served as choir director. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Rebekah lodge, and the American Legion auxillary. She is survived by two sons, Ellis S. Weaver of Cordell and Edward S. Weaver of Altus; two grandchildren, Edward David and Marilyn Weaver of Altus; two brothers, Roy C. Smith and Ellis Smith, both of Moorewood; and three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Shean Baber of Stillwater and Mrs. Maude A. Prosser and Mrs. Lucille V. Hildebrand, both of Roscoe, Texas." 2. In the 1920 census she was identified as being a music teacher.
