  William J. Moore, 68, of Claysville, died unexpectedly at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, January 9, 2003, in his home.
  He was born October 1, 1934, in Washington, a son of John P. and Blanche Irene Porter Moore.
  Since 1960, Mr. Moore was a resident of Claysville, where he was a member and, at the time of his death, was serving as trustee of Claysville United Methodist Church.
  He had coached youth wrestling for several years in Claysville and was a member of BPOE Lodge 776 of Washington.
  Mr. Moore was a member of Air Force Reserves 375 Troop Carrier Wing and a peacetime veteran with the U.S. Marine Corps as a private with the 10th Division at Camp Lejeune, N.C.,
  Prior to retiring Oct. 31, 1996, he was employed by Allegheny Ludlum (Jessop) in Washington for 33 years as a bar mill grinder.
  On August 17, 1957, he married Carol Ann Lutes, who survives.
  Also surviving are a son, Jeffrey W. Moore of Seal Beach, Calif.; a daughter, Kimberly Lynn MacBeth of Claysville; two brothers, James L. and Craig L.D. Moore, both of Claysville; a sister, Joyce Naylor of Eighty Four; and two grandchildren, Brandon and Andrew MacBeth.
  Deceased are two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Moore.
