a. Note:   NAH who died before the birth of their son, Joseph Hannah MISENER. Her name was listed as Elizabeth Mizner Hannah on the marriage certificate of her and Christian/Christopher. Descendants of her son, Joseph Hannah, say that her name was actually spelled MISENER. It is also believed that Elizabeth and Christian/Christopher were cousins and that Elizabeth was related to the VA family of Jacob L. MISNER - fgs 024. 1880 census resided with husband at Frankville Twp, Winneschiek Co, IA, and was "maimed, crippled, bedridden or otherwise disabled". She was listed as born in VA, as were her parents.
