a. Note:   t William was born 18 Mar 1736 NJ; died 8 Jan 1814, the son of William LOGAN who died 1749 (will dated 3 May) and married to Sarah. Their children were: Ann LOGAN, Stoffei LOGAN, Capt William LOGAN, Sarah LOGAN, and Mary LOGAN. They resided near Lamington, Somerset Co, NJ, and later moved to Readington Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ. Capt William LOGAN served in the 1st Batt., Somerset Co, NJ Militia from Nov 1776 to Mar 1778 and participated in numerous engagements including Trenton and Princeton.
