Note:   t 223 B. Arrived Philadelphia on the 16 Oct. 1754 on the the "Peggy" captained by James Ambercrombie. He left Frommern with a wife and seven children. Employed by John Potts, the founder of Pottstown who ran iron mills in the area. Lupold later bought 10 acres of land in Douglas Township, then in Philadelphia County along the great road between Reading and Philadelphia in a settlement then called Grosstown.
