a. Note:   Obituary Provost News, March 24, 1937 Edition, Volume 27, No. 43 - Mrs. Sarah Armstrong died March 16, 1937 after a brief illness, at 92 years of age. She was born in Wakefield, Quebec in 1845. She was a pioneer in this area arriving with her husband in 1910. Funeral services were held in the United Church the Thursday after her death. Rev. Hart officiating. Her favourite hymn "Will there by any Stars in my Crown" was sung by Mrs. Hart. She leaves to mourn her sorrowing husband, five daughters, four sons, 38 grandchildren and one sister.
