Note: Have copy of James' death certificate. His occupation is listed as "Wholesale Meat Dealer - own business".
His address is 8212 S. Sangamon St., Chicago. He was not a veteran nor did he have a ss#. The informant was a Sister Gorman and the info provided was from hospital records.
Have also visited his grave at Mt. Olivet in Worth IL, just south of Chicago.
Believe that James started the Great Western Beef Co. and still is being managed by Bertram Ebzery, (1999).
Have a copy of James and Mary's marriage license application. An attached note from Cook County indicates that "their license was not returned to this office in 1892 at the time of their marriage". License application was dated 26 Oct. 1892.
