Note: ravel truck for Parker all in Houston. Lived with his parents when he was in the process of divorceing Ruby. Tippy was 5. abt 1940.Tippy lived with Ruby but wanted to stay with father.The Mills had a nickname for Elbert. It was Molly. It stuck with him till they moved to Houston, I guess, since everyone called him Smoky. No one knows where either nicknames came from. Smoky could be cause he smoked??? Annie Belle Hargrave still to this day calls him Molly.(2003) Tippy said he was a good cook too.
