Note: Delancy was still a minor when the Court of Carteret Co. was petitioned to divide the land of her father William Williams in 1801. Thomas Wahab was her guardian. Delancy received a slave named Simon valued at $350 when the estate was divided.
Deed Bk T. pg 263 Cart Co. names Delancy as wife of Anson Jones.
