Per Porter, Grandpa used to substitute teach @@ Cedar Point. One time when he was subbing, for some reason Porter jumped out of a window and Grandpa made Porter spend his whole recess jumping in and out of the window.
Never missed one of the boys' baseball games. Was a fervent fan and would often "argue" with the umps.
Was a good man. Never raised a hand to the boys.
