Note: The 1850 US Census only shows "Dan". In 1860 Dan Crump and Amy are fou nd in Ft. Bend Co., TX, with Dabney Walker 20, in household. We think Dabn ey was Amy's brother, and this is the source for Walker being Amy's maid en name.
In the 1870 Ft. Bend, TX, Census, children of Dan D. and Amy are Mary Ja ne b abt 1859, Faithey b. abt 1863, Cecelia b abt 1865, and Cynthia b a bt 1869 - all in Ft. Bend County.It is believed that Faithey was named f or the wife of John William Crump, probably a cousin? who lived nbear th em in Ft.
