RICHARDS & Eliza LONGHOUSE (or Longhurst?), witn Wm RICHARDS, Mary RICHARDS, both Scott, married 21 July 1874, Scott Twp. This is Ontario marriage record 1874 Cause of death=kick from a horse on the temple. Peter Pilch ,age 69, died in 1881, reported by C. Cutting Wife: Rosmond Pilch (you were correct, it is confirmed on Cornelius Jr's death certificate) Son: Cornelius Jr was born in Canada, so your date of immigration for C Sr. is prior to 1840 or so. In December of 1874 C Jr. and his wife lived in Collingwood, that may be a place to look for info on C Sr, as this appears to be where his first grandchild( Elizabeth Annie Rosmond Cutting) was born and they may have lived close by. Possible cemetery in UxBridge: The name of the village is Sandford. It is located on the corner of the Sandford Sideroad and the 4th concession of Uxbridge/Scott. The get there from Uxbridge you go north on Durham 1, which is the 7th of Uxbridge/Scott 3 miles to the Sandford siderd , turn west for 3 miles. When you reach the 4 corners, just past the United Church and at the store, turn south and go about 1/4 mi-there is the cemetery. I was there in the summer but wasn't looking for that name of course.
