 Claude Nance Dies at Age 71
 Claude B. Nance 71, of 951 12A died Monday, March 4, 1974, in a local hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 10:am Wednesday in Kendrick Lane Baptist Church, Rev. Charles Bush officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery. Mr. Nance was born in Oglesby. He married Miss Viola Reed March 24, 1923. He farmed in Coryell County for 20 years. He moved to Roscoe and worked for the Roscoe, Snyder and Pacific Railroad for 20 years. He moved to Waco for health reasons in 1973. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs June Bryant of Greenville and Mrs Pauline Driggers of Odessa; five sons, Claude B. Nance of Rosenberg, George B. Nance of 2301 Sunnydell, Grant W. Nance of Novato, California, David C. Nance of Waxahachie, Edgar F. Nance of Yuma, AZ; one sister, Mrs Bertha Brazzil of Gatesville; 28 grandchildren and 12 great great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Claude Nance, Jr., George Nance, David Nance, Edgar Nance, Ronnie Nance and Roland Driggers.
