Notes
a. Note:   Fred E. Crump, Sr. of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, has probably done as much or more research as anyone on Robert Crump and Mary Parr. Since so much of that information has been disseminated to many, this report will carry it no further. However, I must add a disclaimer here that Fred may not necessarily agree with all Dorman's conclusions. As always, do your own research and do not consider Internet sources as fact. Check the sources and make up your own mind. I will also say here that the Sources in the Footnotes in "Adventurers" are numerous, and the reader is again advised to review them.
That said, two of Robert and Mary's descendants eventually migrated into Louisiana between the 1840's and about 1917, and this was one of the motivations in putting this report together for those families. Secondly, with so much missinformation as has been "out there" for so many years showing William of Lancaster married to Mary Spillman, I thought it not a bad idea to put these recently published findings in a form that could be read by anyone with Internet access.
Robert Crump and Mry Parr may have had at least ten and perhaps as many as sixteen children, but only two are included in this report as they are the ancestors of the branches of the family that migrated to Louisiana. ELC 2004
