a. Note:   Known from family recall. No biological children of their own. Married a man named George Kindler. George was an electrician for the Tribune Tower Beacon Lights. Many lilac bushes at home of 98th and Loomis. Their marriage was Lutheran, George was a Lutheran and Mary was Catholic. Moved to Tampa, Florida because George had a condition from WWI. He had been gased and the smog in the City aggravated his condition. Peter Robert Dixon drove the Kindlers (his aunt and uncle) to Tampa in 1947. George's brother was a car dealer in Key West, USA and also had a dealership in Fargo, South Dakota. Upon George's death, Peter was given $600-700 from his estate. Peter was very fond of the Kindlers and they of him.
  History of adopted niece: VIRGINIA. Loretta of Englewood High School 1939-1940, became a registered nurse at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park. Virginia is known to have married by the name of Smith, with whom she had two children. Susie, on the northside of Chicago and Charles. I will need to find a marriage certificate, which may lead to the birth certificates of these children. I hope to contact these, children or their children. See individual summary of Virginia Smith.
  Prior reports of my own have an exact birthdate for Mary as Dec. 12th. I think I entered the month twice, once written and then numerically. Nothing I have documents the day as the 12th of December. (Jan. 1998)
