Note: Mary Gray was the widow of Charles Stewart and had young children at the time she married Charles Moots, Jr.
Mary Stewart was the widow of a Charles Stewart, who was the partner of a Hugonaut named Piatt. The Piatt castles are well known as tourist attractiona in Ohio. Charles and George Moots owned the land on which Piatt and Stewart built the castles. After Charles Stewart died Charles Moots married his widow.
