a. Note:   [Gordon.ged] Philip Andrew Hines COLQUITT � Philip Andrew Hines, 77, of Colquitt, died Tuesday, October 9, 2001, at Miller County Hospital.
  The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Thompsontown Free Will Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Walter Daniels and the Rev. Paul Irvin will officiate.
  A native of Baker County, Mr. Hines was a retired farmer. He was a member of Walter C. Dancer Lodge 115, Albany Hasan Shrine Temple, Gerald Grow Post 165 American Legion. He was a deacon at Thompsontown Free Will Baptist Church and a former Miller County Commissioner. He was a member of Thompsontown Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Hines was preceded in death by a son, Andy Hines, and a grandson, Phil Hines.
  Survivors include his wife, Nannie Sue "Punk" Hines of Colquitt; two daughters, Phyllis Phillips of Edison and Peggie Hamilton of Lake City, Fla.; sister, Helen Grant of Colquitt; brother, Ansel Hines of Bainbridge; five grandchildren, Mike Phillips, Susan Manry, Tonya McDaniel, Scott Hamilton, Eric Hamilton; three great-grandchildren, Rebekah Hines, Cody Hamilton and Hanna Hamilton.
  Visitation will be 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
