a. Note:   JAMES MCARTHUR GORDON Mr. James McArthur Gordon, age 61 of Cleveland, died Sunday, November 2, 2003 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Gordon was born in Miller County, the son of the late James and Edna Merritt Gordon. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Gordon and grandson, Christopher Gordon. Mr. Gordon was of the Holiness Faith. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Gordon of Cleveland; sons, Ray Gordon of Cleveland, Allen Gordon of Milledgeville, Michael Gordon of Gainesville, Don Gordon of Sautee; daughter, Becky Elarn of Gainesville; sister, Pearlee Drake of Valdosta; brother, Lester Gordon; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at Mount Olive Holiness Church in Colquitt. The Rev. Ruel Martin will officiate. Internment will follow in the Gordon Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
