  COLQUITT, Zettie Gordon Sammons, 86, of Colquitt, died Saturday, January 4, 2003 at Miller County Hospital.
  Funeral services will be held today (Monday) at 11 a.m. at Colquitt Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Gordon Cemetery. The Rev. Tim Mock will officiate.
  Born June 29, 1916 in Miller County, Mrs. Sammons was a housewife and a member of Mount Olive Holiness Church.
  Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sara S. and Bob Tabb of Colquitt, and Eloise and David Clearman of Albany; six grandchildren, Sharon McNair, Sheila Switzer, Davy Clearman, Jerrianne Taaffe, Denise Thompson and Eric Sheffield; and eight great-grandchildren, Stephanie Clark, Lindsey Clark, Logan Taaffe, Levi Sheffield, Jason Lamb, Josh Lamb, Noelle Clearman, and Jonathan McNair.
  Preceded in death by her husband, Yible Sammons.
  Pallbearers are Eric Sheffield, Davy Clearman, Jerry Taaffe, Allen Thompson, Wayne McNair and Sam Phillips.
