Note: Bobbie E. West ALBANY � The funeral service of Bobbie E. West, 69, of 158 Phil Jones Road, Cobb, GA, who died Thursday, February 16, 2006, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home with procession to follow and funeral service to be held at 4 p.m. at Mt. Olive Holiness in Colquitt, GA. The Rev. Lawton Sammons will officiate. Interment will follow in Gordon Cemetery.
A native of Miller County, GA, Mrs. West grew up in Colquitt, GA, and lived in Albany and Worth County before moving to Cobb, GA. She was a homemaker, member of Lakeview Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School class.
Survivors include her husband, William S. West Jr. of Cobb, GA; a son and his wife, Steve and Vickie West of Hiram, GA; three daughters and their husbands, Sherrie and Dewayne Watkins of Sylvester, Lisa and Randy Roberts of Leesburg, GA, and Rebecca and Milton Hathcock of Osceola, WI; two brothers and their wives, Alvin and Elise Gordon and Lamar and Freddie Gordon, all of Colquitt, GA; two sisters, Robbie Kirksey of Colquitt and Lille Stanton of Auburndale, FL; and twelve grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today (Saturday) at Mathews Funeral Home.
