Note: O.B. Everson ALBANY � O.B. Everson passed away Friday, September 30, 2005. Funeral services will be Monday, October 3, 2005 at 1 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Billy Hanna officiating. Graveside services Monday at 4 p.m. at Colquitt City Cemetery. He was born in Mitchell County, GA, on August 31, 1920. He was a longtime farmer in Early, Miller, and Seminole counties before moving to Albany in 1987, where he was a real estate broker. He was a member and deacon emeritus of First Free Will Baptist Church of Albany. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Martha Houston Everson; four children, Jean Lambert and husband Terry of Rome, Ruth Henry and husband W.T. of Albany, Bernard Everson and wife Carole Ann of Hendersonville, TN, Larry Everson and wife Kimberley of Albany; eight grandchildren, Jay Lambert and wife Beth of Woodstock, Lea Henry-Manning and husband Greg of Atlanta, Tre' Everson and wife Jennifer of Franklin, TN, Bo Henry of Albany, Kristin Henry of Albany, Ben Everson and wife Amanda of Goodlettsville, TN, Volree Everson of Birmingham, AL, Ashlee Gibson and husband Patrick of Albany; five great-grandchildren, Jackson, Kayla, Emma, and Olivia Lambert of Woodstock and Elizabeth Everson of Franklin; sister, Maebelle Giles of Blakely; sister-in-law, Esther Mae Everson and husband James of Colquitt; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends today (Sunday) from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church, Albany. Westover Blvd., Albany, GA 31707.
