Note: [Gordon.ged] T. S. LOVERING DIES FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS (3-9-1962) T. S. Lovering, 56, retired farmer and former employee of the City of Blakely, died at his residence on Route 3 the past Friday, succumbing to a lengthy illness. Mr. Lovering, a native and life long resident of Early County, was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Lovering and was born February 6, 1906. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church, where his funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. P. Z. Smith and the Rev. J. B. Lovering officiating. Interment was in Blakely Cemetery, Bryan Funeral Home in charge and Earl Tabb, Willis Lovering, Bubber Lovering, Glenn Lovering, Ray Lovering, and Horace Lovering serving as pallbearers. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vaedell Tabb Lovering; six sons, Clarence Lovering of the USAF, Biloxi, Miss., Ralph Lovering, USAF, Eglin Field, Fla., Randall Lovering of the USAF, Utah, Tremain, Russell and Raymond Lovering, all of Blakely; two daughters Mrs. Grady Chapman of Anchorage, Alaska and Miss Peggy Lovering of Blakely; a brother, Idus Lovering of Colquitt, Ga.; and three sisters, Mrs. Edgar Smith of Colquitt, Ga. and Mrs. Howard Buckhalter and Mrs. Annie Lou Glass of Jakin, Ga. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------
