Note: from ARossShoemaker@@cox.net Ed, I'm sorry I did not get back with you yesterday, but I have a bit of sad news. My Uncle Benny Gordon had a stroke yesterday and passed away sometime around three o'clock this morning. He was 78 and lived near Decatur, GA. He is survived by his wife Martha Anne and two grown sons Greg Gordon and David Gordon. He was a supervisor for GM in Atlanta for almost 40 years before retiring. Uncle Benny was always very strong minded and projected an assuring air of confidence and control. I'll miss him. He was quiet a special individual and always tried to look after my mother and aunts. The services are going to be in Stockbridge, GA with visitations on Tuesday evening and the funeral Wednesday. I don't know if I'll be able to get there on this short a notice, but I'll try. I hate I did not get a chance to get your info to him he would have been a big help to our efforts. I'll sign off for now, but will be in touch soon.
