He loved to watch baseball and hockey on TV, but he knew he had to leave the room when the game got too exciting. ************* He trained his pet parakeet to use the temple of his glasses for a perch, and his cocker spaniel, Blondie, to roll a can of dog food across the kitchen floor with her nose. ***************** From The Detroit News 28 November 1956, page 66 "DEATH NOTICES CAMPBELL--Wallace I; beloved husband of Maude; dear father of Byron, Kenneth, Lloyd and the late Lorne and Mrs. Dorothy WILSON; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive; brother of Howard, Cyrill, Mrs. May JORDON, Mrs. Ruth DECKER and Mrs. Grace HAIGH.
