Notes
a. Note:   He had his first heart attack about 1939. He was given two years to live. He died in 1956. He was a worrier who never relaxed. He loved to watch baseball and hockey on TV, but he knew he had to leave the room when the game got too exciting.
 *************
He trained his pet parakeet to use the temple of his glasses for a perch, and his cocker spaniel, Blondie, to roll a can of dog food across the kitchen floor with her nose.

From a card sent to Paul BEALS from his Mom (Sonia WILSON BEALS) on the anniversary of Grandpa Wallace's 115th birthday:
"Today is my dear Grandpa CAMPBELL's birthday and I am filled with gratitude
for all he gave to me of himself. He truly exemplified to me what a kind,
loving and nurturing man was and I felt so cared for and protected w/ his
presence in my life. I wish I could see him today, give him a big hug and
kiss and tell him how I appreciate him more every year that I live. I can
still picture him (all 5'4") with his cap on his head, his toothless grin,
coming down Rohns Ave. from the store. (Smile) How people loved him and
trusted him as a safe person to share with. He was a man of integrity and
honor and that was so important to me as I developed into a woman while in
his care. He never told an off color story in my presence and never took
our Lord's Name in vain. I am so blessed to have him as my Grandpa (smile)."
