Note: On her birth certificate she is REBECCA Anne Mason. She was born at home and her father, Robert L. Mason, had to go to the county seat to register her birth. Her mother, Helen Dorothy Cochran, and her father had a long `talk' about what they would name her. Her Mom wanted Elizabeth Anne - her Dad wanted Rebecca Anne. It was decided that they would name her "Elizabeth Anne" and off her Dad went to the county seat to register her. - Somehow, they never received a birth certificate for her and in 1987 when Elizabeth Anne was applying for social security she wrote to Pennsylvania for a birth certificate. The certificate came back Rebecca Anne. Her Dad had named her what he wanted and never told anyone. He had the last laugh on everyone!
