Note: len remembers her teaching the children to harmonize and she would sing alto along with them. Ellen also remembers her singing "Whoever took my big black dog, I wish they'd bring him back. She also liked to sing "Bimbo, Bimbo, where ya gonna go-dee-o; Bimbo, Bimbo, what ya gonna do-dee-o; Bimbo, Bimbo, does your mother know, you're going downtown to see your little girly-o. Now Bimbo had two big blue eyes that'd light up like a star. And all the girlies followed him just to buy him a candy bar. Cracker jacks and bubble gum to start the day out right, and all the fellows followed him just to beg him for a bite..." She was very unselfish and giving to her husband and children and they loved her very much.
