In Taunton she bred Afghan hounds and achieved Best of Breed at Crufts with "Dushka" 1953 She had a coronary but recovered to live to 98 yrs old! A rather cold personality who quarrelled with people and lost friends easily. Nasty about & unkind to both her daughters in law. Not a loving grandmother to her 7 grandchildren. County standard Bridge player who played to win & not just for social reasons.
