Note: RESEARCH NOTES: Sarah's birth is recorded in the Pleasant View Ward Record of Members. She was married twice. Her first marriage ended with the tragic death of her young husband. Her second marriage was to a man much older than she. His second wife had died leaving him with young children. Sarah's obituary appeared in the Deseret News on Oct 4, 1918. Her oldest son, John , was living in California at the time. She can also be found in two published histories.

He was married to Hannah Jane Cloward, Eliza Ann Allen, and Sarah Elizabeth Carter though never in polygamy. The histories listed in sources all contain information about George and his families. His marriage to Sarah is given different dates in two of these records. �Ci�DPioneers and Prominent Men of Utah�C/i�D reports their marriage as Nov 21, 1875. �Ci�DCarter Pioneers of Provo Utah�C/i�D says they were married on Nov 17, 1875.
