Note: RESEARCH NOTES: Evaline was 28 years old when she married Levi Landess. Their marriage is recorded in Pike County Marriage Records. The names of two of their children appear in �Ci�DThe Prairie Farmer Directory of Farmers and Breeders�C/i�D. The census reveals that Evaline had three children die young and information regarding them can be found in �Ci�DPast & Present of Pike County, Illinois�C/i�D, by Capt. M. C. Massie. Levi and Evaline both died in March of 1920. Evaline was buried on the ninth and seven days later Levi died of pneumnia. Death certificates which also contain information about their births can be found in Illinois Death Certificates. They are buried in French Cemetery, also called Milton Cemetery in Montezuma Township.
