a. Note:   RESEARCH NOTES: Martha moved to Iowa with her parents while still a child. Her birth is recorded in RLDS Church Records. Her marriage to Thomas Chambers, the son of her mother's niece and her father's brother, is in Harrison County Marriages. In 1903 they moved with their eight chidren to Gregory County, South Dakota. There they lived on the "old Billie McKee place." It is possible that Billie McKee was Martha's brother, William McKee, who was in Gregory Township by 1900. Martha's death is recorded in the RLDS Deceased Members File and her burial in Rosebud Cemetery is in the Gregory County Register of Deeds.
