Note: RESEARCH NOTES: John was married twice but he had buried 2 wives and an infant daughter by the time he was 23. His marriages can be found in the Pike County Flat Files. John's will is recorded in Pike County Wills. The will was written on Apr 11, 1861; John died six days later. In his will he left one hundred dollars to Mrs. Catherine P. Clancey and fifty dollars plus the proceeds from the sale of his wagon to his five year old son, Henry.
