Lowe, a resident of Porterville for 50 years, died in Porterville on Wednesday, March 29, 2000. She was 83. Funeral services will be held at 10a.m. Friday at Meyers Chapel, with the Rev. Jack Craven of the Freewill Baptist Church officiating.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Lowe was born in Moscow, Tenn. She was a homemaker for 48 years and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.  She moved from Massachusetts to Porterville. Survivors include her husband, Daniel O. Lowe; a son, Jerry Lowe of Chico, two daughters, Dorothy Singleton and Roberta Stringer, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; six grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters. Arraignments are under the direction of Meyers Funeral Service. Thursday March 30, 2000
