Note: Anna's Obituary in the Journal Register on April 9, 1954, (pg 30) stated she died on April 8, 1954 at St. John's hospital. She had been ill for the previous two years and was hospitalized in early February after falling and breaking a hip. "She was born in Canada and had been a resident of Springfrield for the last 40 years. she was a member of the Altar and Rosary society of St. Patrick's church. surviving is her husband, Edward J. Bretz. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery."
