  Rollo Speer, 1942 (AAJ) Alexander went to Canada first and married Jane & had 4 children. Then he went to Georgia, married Elizabeth and had 9 more children. Alexander was a Methodist Circuit rider in GA. His diary is in possession of Mrs. Mabel Speer Bennett, his grand daughter in Pittsford, Michigan.
  Review of info from John L. Inman, 2000 suggests that Alexander first immigrated to SC/GA where he married Jane Fletcher and had 4 children. After Jane died in 1852, Alexander married Elizabeth (or Rebecca) Wilson and had 9 more children. Although more info is nedded, it appears that Alexander & Elizabeth apparently lived & raised their children in Ontario, Canada.
