a. Note:   Henry C. Gentz Dies " Henry C. Gentz 64, passed away at his home May 4, after a long illness. Born in Germany in 1880, he came to this country at the age of two years, and his parents settled at Middleton. A few months later they moved to Verona, so he has lived around here most of his life. Survivors are one son, Boyd , U.S. Postmaster; a grandson, Michael, four sisters, Mrs. Louise Winkelman, Mrs. Emma Matz, of Verona; Mrs. Alice Perry and Miss Agnes Gentz of Madison. Funeral services were held Monday at 1:45 p.m. at the Hinrichs Funeral Parlor and at 2:00 p.m. at the Salem Reformed church, Rev. Walter Clausing officiating. Pallbearers were Alton Rhiner, Ole Week, Paul Bergenske, Gustav Gust, Adolph Urweider and Walter Kline. Burial was in the Verona cemetery.
